A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Having grown up in the beautiful landscape of the Perthshire hills in Scotland, I have always felt a deep and profound connection with my environment and am happiest and most content when I am outside, rain or shine.

Throughout my childhood, the sights, smells and feel of the natural world around me were integral to my sense of wellbeing and this has given me an understanding of the importance in the relationship we have with our outdoor spaces, no matter how large or small.

I learned a long time ago the difference a good design makes. The way you use and enjoy your garden is hugely enhanced by a carefully considered plan. Frequently it opens up possibilities you would not have otherwise considered, and at the same time ensures there is a sense of cohesion and flow throughout the entire space. Planting schemes that cater for aspect, position, soil type, and biodiversity ensure that your garden thrives both for you and for bird and bug visitors alike.

Now a busy mum of three and with a previous teaching career, moments of connection with nature have never felt more important or beneficial and this understanding fuels my love of the design process within our outdoor spaces. Having gained a Diploma in Garden Design from the National Design Academy and designing for some years now, it is my greatest desire to share my passion and expertise with those who crave connection with their natural surroundings. Blending beautiful hard landscaping materials, with exquisite planting schemes that delight the senses, ensures that every experience in your garden can be a moment of relaxation, restoration, and renewal.
